Malcolm is a geek, carefully surviving in a tough neighborhood in Inglewood, California, filled with gangsters and drug dealers. While he faces his senior year at high school having to overcome the SAT tests and present his college applications to get away from there. His dream is to switch coasts and study at Harvard. An invitation to a party leads Malcolm and is friends to an unexpected and gritty adventure with bad choices and weird characters. An adventure that could only take place in Los Angeles. The movie is directed by Rick Famuyiwa and It has the collaboration of hip hop stars like Tyga or ASAP ROCKY. Shameik Moore, Tony Revolori, Kiersey Clemons, Blake Anderson and Zoë Kravitz participates too.
