Plot
Set in December 1945, 'The Innocents' is focused in Mathilde Baeulieu (Lou de Laâge), a young doctor who is sent by the Red Cross to help in the repatriation of the French prisoners who were wounded in the borders between Germany and Poland. when the main character arrives at the mysterious place, she discovers that most of the nones are pregnant of soldiers of the Red Army. Mathilde will do everything what is possible to improve the situation of the convent and help her mates.
Directed by Anne Fontaine, 'The Innocents' has been showed in some international film festivals, such as the Sundance Film Festival, the Munich Film Festival and the London Film Festival. This drama is starred by Joanna Kulig, Lou de Laâge, Agata Buzek, Agata Kulesza, Anna Próchniak, Vincent Macaigne and Katarzyna Dabrowska.
