Plot
Anna Foerster directs 'Underworld: Blood Wars', an action horror film that continues the 'Underworld' saga starring Kate Beckinsale. Foerster, who debuts as a big-screen director with this supernatural story, has a good background as she has directed several episodes of TV- series such as 'Outlander' or 'Criminal Minds'. 'Underworld: Blood Wars' script has been written by Cory Goodman. 'This film will end a saga that has raised over $200 million in the US. For this last instalment Theo James, Tobias Menzies, Lara Pulver, Charles Dance and Bradley James will be starring alongside Beckinsale. The British actress will be playing Selene for the fifth time in a film that promises to put an end to the ancestral battle between vampires and werewolves, because in this last chapter both races decided to join forces to create a new hybrid species that could hold the key to achieve everlasting peace between the two underworld species and humans.

'Underworld: Blood Wars' is the fifth installment of the hit vampire saga and tries to return to the aesthetic dark recovery in 'Underworld', the original film that reached success in 2002. Therefore, it has been re-recorded in Eastern Europe, which allows us to evoke an atmosphere of the Old Continent that pays homage to the aesthetic DNA that the saga has.

Gary Lucchensi, president of Lakeshore Entertainment, said "one of the most interesting elements of the film is the new Nordic vampire community."
