Warner Bros is responsible for adapting to the big screen the story of one of the most beloved comic superheroes: Wonder Woman. Gal Gadot ('Night and Day', 'Fast & Furious 6') is the chosen one to give life to this immortal Amazon princess who makes of the whip her main weapon in 'Wonder Woman'. Patty Jenkins ('The Killing', 'Exposed') directs this film about a script by Jason Fuchs ('Holy Rollers'), who could emerge as a sequel to 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice'. Gadot's character appears for the first time in the Zack Snyder's film, whose timeline would be after the events which inspired 'Wonder Woman'. It said that in the 'Wonder Woman' movie we would find two time lines, the first focusing on the First World War, and the second in a modern world previous to the events of 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice'. Chris Pine ('Star Trek Into Darkness', 'Into the Woods') is confirmed as the pilot Steve Trevor who knows Wonder Woman on the island of the Amazons and take her to the outside world. Trivia Wonder Woman

Gal Gadot was chosen for the role of Wonder Woman, not only for her acting skills, but by her Mediterranean heritage and her experience as a soldier, as she served for the Israel Defence Forces for two years. Gal Gadot will appear in two films in the same year. First in 'Wonder Woman' and in 'The League of Justice'. She will become the third actress of DC along with Ben Affleck and Ezra Miller.
