Thats right, being able to show off your culinary skills is a form of art in itself and it seems people have resorted to the world of film to come up with some impressive tasty creations.

Whether you think these people who have made these desserts have an impressive imagination or maybe a bit too much time on their hands, one thing for sure is they all look tasty. So, without further ado to whet your appetite, here are 10 cinematic desserts we'd all love to gobble up.

1 Golden Snitch cupcake

snitch

This creative Harry Potter themed cake is based on the famous Golden Snitch. One thing is for sure that Harry would have gobbled this tasty treat right up instead of nearly choking and spitting it out just like he did with the real Golden Snitch in 'Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone'.

2 Olaf cake

Here is a cake based on the beloved snowman from 'Frozen'. The edge of the cake has been surrounded by KitKat's, whilst the sand has been made using crushed up digestive biscuits. Meanwhile, the sea was made using vanilla buttercream. No wonder Olaf looks so happy. Tasty!

3 Marshmallow Minion lollies

Another piece of dessert art includes these 'Game of Thrones' cupcakes. These probably deserved to be put on display to appreciate their pure detail instead of being eaten, but that's easier said than done.

6 'The Lord of the Rings' cake

How long must have this 'The Lord of the Rings' cake taken to make? The famous Hobbit house's that are scattered throughout Hobbiton sits perfectly on top of an edible version of the ring, which is then placed on top of J.R.R Tolkien's book in cake form.

7 'Breaking Bad' candy
