Jonah Hill is one of best comedy actors in the industry and he has been making people laugh for over 12 years since his debut in 2004. From one of his first performances in the popular comedy 'The 40 Year Old Virgin', to landing his first major role in the 2007 film Superbad where he was the protagonist alongside his close friend Michael Cera. Since then, the American has appeared in blockbusters such as '21 Jump Street', '22 Jump Street', 'War Dogs' and 'Sausage Party'.

It is true that his characters are known for adding that funny spark to every film he is in, Hill is just as fun and bubbly behind the cameras as he enjoys listening to and producing music, watching cartoons and loves travelling with Germany being his favourite place.

1 Sights on Springfield

When Jonah Hill was 7 years old, his parents asked him what he wanted to do with his life. He replied with a very simple answer. All he wanted to do was live in Springfield, the hometown of 'The Simpsons'. Years later, Hill achieved his dream, when he starred in a 2009 episode of the series where he played the voice of Andy Hamilton (pictured above), a former student of Springfield Elementary and top prankster.

2 Maroon 5 Management

The comedy actors older brother, Jordan, is currently working as the manager for the American pop band Maroon 5. Jonah's brother is no stranger to the entertainment industry as he has also worked with the likes of Robin Thicke and Sara Bareilles. The family are used to working with celebrities as Jonah Hill's dad, Richard, used to be the tour accountant for the likes of Dr. Dre, Madonna and Gun's N' Roses's.

3 (Fake) cocaine overdose

During the filming of the popular 'Wolf of Wall Street', featuring the excellent Leonardo DiCaprio, Jonah Hill was hopsitalised after he developed bronchitis after sniffing the vitamin powder given to him by the crew, which was used as fake cocaine. The actor who played the stockbroker Donnie Azoff in the 2013 movie about the intelligent fraudster Jordan Belfort revealed his secret to pretend he was high during filming was lots of energy drinks and loud music.

4 Diet Diary to Drake

Whilst as a guest on The Tonight Show, the actor recalled the time when his nutritionist asked him to keep a food diary to monitor his diet. However, one thing his doctor did not ask him to do was to e-mail the diary to the famous Canadian rapper, Drake. Speaking on the TV show, Hill claimed he forgot to e-mail the doctor so went to do so but instead accidentally e-mailed Drake. Unfortunately, he never got a reply from the rapper regarding his diary, which included food such as chicken, salad and yoghurt.

5 Nanny tattoo

On the inside of his forearm, the actor has a tattoo dedicated to his beloved grandmother. The tattoo reads 'NANCY RULES' and represents the close relationship with his grandmother. Despite the tattoo and their close relationship, his grandmother isn't scared of voicing her opinion. In 2013, she made it clear that she hated Hill's role in the Martin Scorsese's film 'Wolf of Wall Street' and told him to tell Scorsese for a different role.
