It's not the first time the CW has made two of its DC superheroes share the screen. 'Arrow' and 'The Flash' have been, among others, protagonists of many of these crossovers. And in an unprecedented four episodes under the title 'Invasion!', The CW joined the protagonists of four of their series, namely 'Supergirl', 'Arrow', 'Legends Of Tomorrow'and 'The Flash'.

The new format was welcomed with open arms by fans of DC Comics, who on the one hand have are thankful to see team ups of their favourite heroes, whom often seem to be in the background on the big screen under the shadow of Marvel, and on the other hand, they were well represented in a faithful adaptation of an original comic, that in which the Dominators come to Earth to perceive whether these super-humans were a threat or not.

So it is not surprising that the stories are intertwined again. And as already promised, Melissa Benoist's Supergirl will again sneak into this time in 'The Flash' in chapter number seventeen of the third season under the name 'Duet'. But not only that, the chain promised that in addition to crossover, the episode would be musical. The best of all? The official trailer is here.

What will we see in episode 3x17 of 'The Flash'?

'Flashmob'

Barry and the team are surprised when Mon-El and Hank Henshaw (David Harewood) arrive on Earth with a dying Supergirl, who has been beaten by the Music Meister (Darren Criss, an actor with whom Grant Gustin has worked on 'Glee'). However and to everyone's surprise, the young man is also beaten, falling into the same coma as the superheroine.
