'La sombra de la ley' takes us to the Spain of the 1920s, a time when the country is going through a chaotic moment and the murky affairs and illegal business are the order of the day. In this environment, Amíbal (Luis Tosar), a policeman, is assigned to Barcelona to investigate and arrest the guilty persons of assault on a military train, however, Amíbal will not find many facilities to carry out his work.
