More than 80 actors and directors came together to celebrate 10 years of the Marvel Cinematic Universe with a family photo

The Marvel Cinematic Universe is celebrating it's 10th Birthday this year, and in order to celebrate took a huge family photo, including stars from majority of its films.

2nd May 2008, the date 'Iron Man' hit US cinemas also marked the birth of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. 10 years and more than $13.5 billion worth of box office success later, has come the time to celebrate the studio's success. What better way to do so than together?

Marvel have released the above family photo taken on the set of 'Avengers: Infinity War' last October. 79 people came together in order celebrate the first 10 years of UCM and to make the photo possible. In the following video you can see see just a handful of the stars who were present as well as hear what they thought of the commemoration.

The competition

Whilst the festivities are well underway, Marvel have announced a huge competition for its fans Stateside. The winner will be rewarded with a visit to the set of 'Captain Marvel', tickets to the 'Infinity War' premiere and a Marvel studios tour. For the rest of us however, we'll have to make do with counting down to 'Black Panther''s arrival in cinemas. The production is set to hit the UK on 13th February. 'Infinity War' will arrive on 27th April.
