'El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie' has already hit Netflix. The cinematic continuation to the legendary 'Breaking Bad' series final answers the most important lingering question of the series: what happens to Jesse Pinkman? We spoke to Aaron Paul, the actor behind this beloved character, to find out.

The last time that we saw Paul's character was when Walter White had just freed him from captivity. The striking final image of Jesse in the series was him on the run in an 'El Camino' Chevrolet whilst he cried. This very same car lends its name to the title of the spin-off, in which we'll finally see the conclusion to Pinkman's story as well as finding out more details about his kidnapping of the final series.

A very different ending

Aaron Paul shared with us his own ideas about Jesse's ending and how the film came extremely close to having an ending far different from anything he'd ever imagined. The film's director, Vince Gilligan, had toyed with the idea of concluding the feature with an ironic twist by leaving Jesse locked in a cell, thus bringing series and spin-off round in a full circle.
