Five years after Elsa and her 'Let It Go' successfully became one of the most iconic songs from Disney's entire discography, the sequel to Disney's beloved 'Frozen' continues it's production for release next year. And alongside Anna and Elsa's new adventure will come several new songs, four of which Jennifer Lee, the film's co-director, has already confirmed have been written.

Frozen Fever

With the release of the trailer for 'Ralph Breaks the Internet', Variety were able to speak to the co-director of 'Frozen 2', who has also confirmed that the power couple, Bobby Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez, who wrote the soundtrack for the first film, have created four new songs for the film. Lee has stated that one song in particular is an "evolution" of what has come before, highlighting her appreciation for the new song: "It's its own song...Bobby and Kristen just delivered it three weeks ago. We've been working with them for two years and this song just came in and I love it."

There is little more than a year until the return of the two famous Disney sisters, and we still do not have any details about the plot, although Jennifer Lee has hinted that the Queen and Princess will be traveling far from Arendelle, for an adventure which will be "bigger, more epic" than the first. At the moment the only thing confirmed is that Kristen Bell, Idina Menzel, Josh Gad, and Jonathan Groff will all be returning to lend their voices to the characters in the new film, which will again be directed by Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck with songs from the Anderson-Lopez pair. Anna, Elsa, and Olaf will be coming to cinema screens next November, a few days after the USA release on the 22nd November 2019.

The Disney Princesses Unite on the Big Screen

We have no need to wait a whole year to watch Anna and Elsa on the big screen once again, as they will share the stage with the other Disney princesses in the new 'Wreck-It Ralph' sequel, which tells the story of Vanellope, who meets all of the princesses when she "arrives online". The House of Mouse are taking this princess business seriously and have even allowed the original actresses to return to voice their roles. Ralph and Vanellope will be coming to cinemas alongside the Disney princesses on November 30th 2018.
