Thanks to technology, whether it's a whisper shared between friends or where Disney have hidden the Millennium Falcon, it's almost impossible to keep secrets anymore. Google Maps (the tool that seems to know everything nowadays) has known the answer to the latter for some time. The location of the galaxy's most famous space ship has been sat waiting to be discovered on Google Maps all along!!

Disney have so far been very careful as to what they reveal regarding the 'Star Wars' franchise, that's not been the case with the Millenium Falcon however. In all honestly, even if they'd hidden Han Solo's ship in a better place, it would've been discovered by observant fans sooner or later. On the outskirts of London, just off the M3 and very close to Longcross studios, there's a series of storage containers, that, at first glance don't look anything out of the ordinary. If you look at the same area with Google Maps (and it's bird's eye view) however, you can clearly see that Disney have attempted to hide the Millennium Falcon amongst the containers. Given the recent discovery, we wouldn't be surprised to find a nearby warehouse serving as a make-shift set for the latest film.

 The hidden space ship

Coincidence?

The discovery was made by a fan, who would've had to sit at their computer for quite some time, given the tedious task of trawling through Google Maps. According to Mashable, images of the space ship first surfaced in June, but the news has only really blown up this week.

'Star Wars: The Last Jedi' is set for UK release on 15th December 2017.
