It's been 10 years since the release of 'Mamma Mia!' and as each day passes we get closer and closer to the sequel. To tease us just a little further, Universal Pictures have released the final trailer for 'Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again'. The sequel is set for UK release on 20th July.

Ol Parker ('Now Is Good') has taken over from Phyllida Lloyd as screenplay writer and director for the upcoming film that promises to bring us the wedding that never was from the first instalment. There's set to be a lot of time jumps in the sequel as we venture through the past and into Donna's (Meryl Streep) youth. The first trailers for the film gave us a little glimpse into the storyline, but this final clip really drives it home and reminds us why we fell in love with 'Mamma Mia!' all those years ago.

A lot of the cast from the first film will be returning like, Amanda Seyfried, Julie Walters, Colin Firth, Stellan Skarsgård, Pierce Brosnan and Meryl Streep herself. New additions to the cast include Lily James, Jeremy Irvine and Cher.

The release of the final trailer has brought along with it a new poster featuring all of the cast.

What's happened to Donna?

The first trailer set off rumours that Streep's character, Donna could possibly be dead. Why?, you ask, well Streep only appeared for a few seconds in the trailer and the majority of the scenes shown, looked as though they'd taken place in the past. The only new scene we saw of Streep took place in a church.

This latest trailer doesn't seem to have done much to quash our worries either, although one thing for certain is that Meryl is definitely in the sequel, whether that be in the past or present. We can't wait to see the actress in action, bringing to life, once more, ABBA hits like 'Fernando', 'Kisses of Fire' or 'Angeleyes'.
