British actor Tom Hardy, best known for his roles in 'Peaky Blinders' and the superhero sensation, 'Venom', has recently become a father of three, welcoming the second second child in his marriage with actress Charlotte Riley. The couple met ten years ago on the set of 'Wuthering Heights' and already have a daughter together. Hardy also has another ten-year-old son from a past relationship with Rachel Speed. Riley gave birth to their new son last month, and the child's adorable namesake has recently been revealed.

Forrest Gump
A source close to the couple has revealed to The Sun that the newest member of the Hardy household honours his actor-parents' love of films, and is named after the beloved protagonist of 90s classic 'Forrest Gump'. Apparently, just like the rest of us, Hardy has always found Robert Zemeckis' timeless film, which won Tom Hanks an Oscar in 1995, "very inspiring and enjoyable", and felt that the name was fitting. We couldn't agree more, a baby Forrest Hardy sounds too adorable to bare!

Superhero Father

The actor has made it very clear that being a father is of the utmost importance to him in his life: "First and foremost, I'm a dad," he told Variety, admitting that it was his son who inspired him to take the role of Eddie Brock in 'Venom'. He confessed: "having had done 'Dark Knight' with Chris [Nolan], I'd kind of done my superhero bit, but when I was presented with the opportunity to play Venom, and that correlated with my son's love of Venom and how cool he was, I got really, really excited and decided I wanted to do it."

Despite the bad reviews the film received initially from critics, it was adored by the public and shocked the world by becoming one of the big hits of 2018. Hardy has already signed a contract to film two more sequels in the saga, the first of which is set to be released in October of 2020, but under different direction to Ruben Fleischer.
