Plot
Directed by Sean McAllister and produced by British Public Broadcasting, BBC. 'A Syrian Love Story' show us the lives form them how struggle to defend their freedom in the middle of a tyrannical dictatorship. Amer, 45, met Raghda, 40, in prison. They both were there because of their political believes. But the love made his path through the walls of the cell, and they decide to get married as soon as they get released.
The documentary tells the incredible story of how Amer and Raghda build a family immersed in such an unstable world, and how they manage to travel from Damascus to France. There they try to start again, far away from war. Nominated for Best Documentary Feature at European Film Awards and three nominations for BAFTA.
