A break from 'Kamakura Diary'
Although released later, this film wrapped earlier than director's previous film 'Kamakura Diary' (2015). The month-and-a-half filming of After the Storm took place starting in May 2014 in between the production of Our Little Sister, which was shot throughout a year.

'After the Storm' has been awarded with the Silver Mirror Award at the Norwegian festival Films from the South 2016.
