Altamira. El origen del Arte

Thanks to this documentary directed by José Luis López-Linares and with the amazing music of Arturo Cardelús, the so-called Sistine Chapel of Rock Art will be rediscovered and the magnificent story of the discovery of a cave and some paintings that left the world speechless 138 years ago will be known. During the 76 minutes that this fantastic trip lasts, the director gathers his visit by the different rock caves of the world trying to get some information about the way of life of the Magdalenian man (20,000 years ago he lived) and about a form of artistic creation, the paintings that, according to him, convert the Altamira area into, nothing more, nothing less, "the Prado Museum of Prehistory".
