Plot
'Bowfinger' is described as a parody of Hollywood filmmaking and it is about a desperate movie producer who fails to get a major star for his bargain basement film, and decides to shoot the film around him. Some critics has said that is a film about these losers in Hollywood who want to make a movie. The working title for the film was 'Bowfinger's Big Thing'. Several films at least strongly paralleling Bowfinger have since been made.
