His sculptures are famous worldwide. They can be found through the streets of cities in Spain, France, Sweden, Japan, United States and Canada. He is famous for his human heads who defy perspective, like the one that is found in Plaza de Colón, in Madrid. The documentary 'Can You Hear Me?' studies artist Jaume Plensa. Pedro Ballesteros, the director, joins the sculptor in some of his trips to discover how he works and how his sculptures are born. This trips will take us to New York, where he is preparing a lobby for a skyscraper, to Barcelona, where a retrospective exposition about him is being organized, to Stockholm, where he opens an outdoors exposition of his work, to the island of Porquerolles, and to Madrid. Plensa himself explains each one of his projects and their inception, how he understands art and what he thinks is its power.
