Code 3

'Code 3' is a U.S. comedy co-written and directed by Christopher Leone. Patrick Pianezza also co-writes the script for the film, produced by Wayfarer Studios (a company owned by Justin Baldoni) and starring Rainn Wilson from 'The Office'. It premieres in the United States on September 12, 2025 under Aura Entertainment distribution.

The story is set in the emergency room of a U.S. hospital and follows a pair of paramedics, Randy and Mike, who are in charge of the ambulance service. Chaos usually reigns in the hospital in general, and particularly in the emergency room. Working conditions are so poor and the job so exhausting that Randy ends up resigning due to burnout.

On his last 24-hour shift, the service manager, Shanice, asks him for one last favor: to train his replacement, Jessica. Throughout this final day, the three will experience the most dangerous and surreal situations. Just another ordinary day.

In addition to Rainn Wilson, the cast of 'Code 3' includes Lil Rel Howery, Aimee Carrero, Yvette Nicole Brown, Rob Riggle, Ayesha Harris, Dalia Rooni and Page Kennedy. Despite relatively independent production and distribution, the film receives generally good reviews. Filming took place in Santa Clarita, California.
