From Disney to Universal
Initially Disney was the producer for the film but finally they sold it to Universal Pictures. This happened because Disney's team considered that 'Cowboy Ninja Viking' did not correspond with his usual family cinema.

'Cowboy Ninja Viking' is the adaptation to the big screen of a graphic novel wrote by AJ Lieberman and Riley Rossmo. The novel was published between 2009 and 2010 in ten deliveries.
