Deep Cover

'Deep Cover' is a British comedy directed by Tom Kingsley and written by Colin Trevorrow, Derek Connolly, Ben Ashenden and Alexander Owen. It is a production by Metronome Film Company for Amazon Prime Video, which will release the film worldwide on June 12, 2025. It stars Bryce Dallas Howard, Orlando Bloom, and Nick Mohammed.

The three play Kat, Marlon, and Hugh, a trio of comedians and stand-up performers from London who are recruited by the metropolitan police to carry out low-level operations. In one of these operations, they encounter Fly, a somewhat notorious criminal involved in drug trafficking. Surprisingly, Fly offers Kat, Marlon, and Hugh a chance to work for him, and the police convince them to do so, thus working as double agents.

However, when high-ranking police officials are unaware of the true identity of the trio of comedians and their connection to the police, things begin to get more complicated than expected.

In addition to the lead trio, the cast of 'Deep Cover' also includes Paddy Considine, Sonoya Mizuno, Ian McShane, and Sean Bean, among others. Filmed in various locations in London, the movie has received decent reviews, particularly highlighting the performances of the lead trio and the strength of the script.
