Dolores Ibárruri, La Pasionaria, is one of the most important and remembered figures of 20th century Spain. The Basque woman who ended up presiding over the Communist Party of Spain is one of the most emblematic and iconic figures of our territory. This documentary titled 'Dolores Ibárruri. Pasionaria' offers us a deep and humanizing view of politics. A biography that is emotional and goes hand in hand with major historical events that took place in the most crucial decades of Spain in the last century. Dolores and her granddaughter, who shares her name, will guide us through the most intimate routes of love, nostalgia, loss, and solitude. Documents, poetry, and music complement this feature film, adding a more intimate and emotional dimension to the narrative.

The multidisciplinary artist, Amparo Climent, directs this feature film. The director has extensive experience in this field: 'Las cartas perdidas' (2022), 'Los sueños de Idomeni' (2016), or 'Las lágrimas de África' (2015) are just some of her previous works. The filmmaker, who studied Fine Arts at UCM, was born in Valencia, surrounded by a family of artists. From a very young age, she began to experiment in the world of art, starting with Plastic Arts, Dramatic Arts, Music, and Audiovisual.
