'El mar nos mira de lejos' (2017) is a ejemplar production between the documentary and the fiction, the legend of an ancient and forgotten civilization lies buried under large dunes in the south of Spain. For more than a century, several travelers have come to this remote territory looking for the traces of ancient settlers, perhaps the remains of a city buried by the sands, or perhaps a kind of lost utopia. Ignorant of those myths and the romantic illusions of archaeologists and adventurers, a few men, barely visible among the sands, live today in solitude that place facing the sea.
