Evil Dress

It follows the story of Alicia (Belén Rueda), who after a painful divorce decides to start anew. She buys an old isolated house and moves in with her daughter Carla (Vera Centenera).

What was supposed to be a fresh start in search of peace ends up being the complete opposite. Unbeknownst to them, they have entered the wolf's den, which will become their nightmare from that moment on.

Carla decides to investigate their new home and goes up to the attic, where she finds a mysterious blue dress. What seems to be an innocuous piece of clothing ends up hiding a darker story.

After putting it on, she begins to have unsettling visions, hears whispers in the dark, and no matter how much her mother tries to stop her, she cannot help but feel an obsession with the dress. Rather, with the invisible presence that falls over her like a cloak every time she wears it.

Alicia tries to find a logical reason for the strange phenomena surrounding her and her daughter, but these continue to escalate. Unexplained injuries, voices with unknown origins. These events feed off the painful past filled with secrets, traumas, and resentments that remain trapped in Alicia's mind.

Sometimes we must fear more what we know than the unknown. What lurks within us has a reason to be contained.
