Female Human Animal

Filmed with the contemporary-art world in its back, in a half-documentary format that defies the most badic conventions of reality and fiction, 'Female Human Animal' is a psycho thriller about a disenchanted woman with modern life (and what men have to offer her). When writer Chloe Aridjis becomes a curator of a Tate perspective about the surrealistic Leonora Carrington, an elusive and melancholic man appears on scene. But, while she goes down into an obsession romantic world, she asks herself: am I the chaser or am I being chased? 'Female Human Being' becomes a movie about a dark romance of a woman who goes beyond social norms and underlines today's society's lack of conscience about sexual politics.
