'Greyhound' is the second movie about World War II starring Tom Hanks. The first one is Steven Spielberg's 'Saving Private Ryan'.

'Greyhound' is the third film that Tom Hanks has wrote. First was 'The Wonders' (1996), the second 'Larry Crowne' (2011). Also he is the writer of three mini-series 'From the Earth to the Moon' (1998), 'Band of brothers' (2001) and 'Electric City' (2012).
