Herencia

'Herencia' shows that Havana is still alive. Its people are in squares, streets, churches, parks, schools. And it continues to transmit a cultural heritage made up of ancient laughter, african rhythms and strong tints. 'Herencia' is a story of emotions in which time does not follow a traditional order. This documentary, written and directed by Ana Hurtado, shows us, through images that manage to say everything above any word, what this has meant: Africa has a presence in Cuba. It will show the mix and mix of cultures that are present today on the island. A story of characters who, while living their Cuban life, are contributing a cultural heritage, rich, ancient and that comes from far away.
