Ittefaq

Ittefaq movie story is a remake of 1969 film with the same name and is directed by Abhay Chopra. The police officer Dev (Akshaye Khanna) investigates a double murder case with two prime suspects who are both witnesses too. The suspects are Vikram, an acclaimed writer (Siddharth Malhotra) and Maya (Sonakshi Sinha), a young homemaker. Both of them tell different stories about what happened the night of the murder and both of these stories confront each other. Only one of the narratives can be the truth and police officer Dev has to choose who will he believe and he won't stop until he finds out what happened that night.
