Janaan

Azfar Jafri directs this romantic comedy whose script has been written by Osman Khalid Butt.

'Janaan' tells the story of Meena, a young woman who returns to Swat, her hometown, after eleven years living in Canada, due to the wedding of one of her cousins. When she goes back home, she will reunite with her family and discover that her parents were planning her marriage. The candidates, Daniyal and Asfandyar, are two different young men, so it will be a love triangle which is illustrated with songs composed by Salim-Sulaiman and Armaan Malik.

The cast is formed by the local stars Armeena Rana Khan, Ali Rehman Khan, Bilal Ashraf, Mishi Khan, Ajab Gul, Nayyar Ejaz, Hania Aamir, Usman Muktar, DJ Panni and Jalal Haider. The film shows a sweetened vission the Pakhtun Culture from Pakistan.
