La fiesta de los locos

Documentary film directed by Manuel Iborra ('Orquesta Club Virginia', 'Caín', 'El tiempo de la felicidad', 'El baile del pato', 'Pepe Guindo') which shows the celebration of carnival in the streets of Cadiz, a party which is known around the world. In this movie historians explain the origins of the famous carnival, and the performances of the most important associations, such as 'V de vavetta', 'Las talegueras', 'Excelentísimo Ayuntamiento de Guatifó' or 'Quédate que queda té'. Some of the most known chrigotas which appear every year on television are shown too.

The movie is a production of Producciones Clandestinas, company which is directed by Antonio Resines, Maestranza Films and Laya Films.
