They have been attributed with the most surprising origins and properties. "The Daughters of Thunder" is a self-produced documentary by Sinduda Comunicación, written and directed by José Martínez and Marisol Picón.

The documentary is about the truffle, a capricious fruit that does not easily allow itself to be domesticated. It is characterized by growing discreetly and being difficult to see; its collection depends on the sense of smell and training of domestic animals such as pigs or dogs. This documentary invites viewers to learn about and advocate for a sustainable and nature-respecting cultivation method. A way of farming that acts a bit like a virus, as it generates a certain addiction in producers for whom the truffle is almost always a way of life rather than just a means of making a living.
