Leatherface

The horror and suspense film tells the story of Leatherface, a teenager who escapes from a mental hospital with three other companions, putting himself in danger and opening himself to the outside world. On the way, they stab a nurse and take her with them on a hellish journey, entering a crusade full of dangers and threats, both on their part and on that of the outside world. In addition, they will be persecuted by Hal Hartman, a disturbed and dangerous Texas Ranger, full of anger and revenge, who wants to kill them once and for all, and not leave them alive. One of the boys will be destined to live a tragedy that will lead him to lose his mind, turning him into a monster that we know today as Leatherface, and that will star in this thiller full of horror and crimes everywhere. This prequel is chronologically located before 'The Texas Chainsaw Massacre' of 1974, written and directed by Tobe Hooper.

'Leatherface' is directed by Alexandre Bustillo and Julien Maury, known for more horror movie titles, with the screenplay by Seth M. Sherwood. Stephen Dorff gives life to the dangerous Hal Hartman, Lili Taylor plays Verna Sawyer and Sam Strike Jackson. The film premiered on September 14 and did not receive much support from international critics.
