'Les souvenirs' trivia and fun facts

The shooting lasted eight weeks and took place between Paris and Étretat.

Directed by Jean-Paul Rouve, 'Les souvenirs' is the film adaptation of the novel by David Foenkinos published by Gallimard.

'Les souvenirs' was presented at various festivals in 2014: at Angouleme, at Saint-Jean-de-Luz and at Naumur.

For soundtrack, Jean-Paul Rouve asked to singer Julien Doré reinterpreting one of the classics of French song: 'Que reste-t-il de nos amours?', by Charles Trenet.

Annie Cordy and Mathieu Spinosi, who are grandmother and grandson in the film, decided to keep in touch long after finishing the film.
