Les Unwanted de Europa

The debut of Italian director Fabrizio Ferraro in this Spain-Italy co-production is a documentary entitled 'Les Unwanted de Europa'.

The documentary tells the events between 1939 and 1940, the south-east of the Pyrenees witnessed an authentic exodus. The refugees of the Spanish Civil War crossed the border to reach France and were concentrated in detention camps. A year later, the philosopher Walter Benjamin, made the same trip in the opposite direction fleeing collaborationist France. A bidirectional movement close to the events of today in Europe.
