Loba

Catherine Béchard directs the documentary film 'Loba'. She is a healer that decided, 5 years ago, to go on a long trip to pick up testimonies of different women about their experiences during labor. From Barcelona to Oaxaca (Mexico), going through Toulouse (France), Catherine Béchard and her daughter, Lila Fraysse, discovered the suffering that a lot of women still feel during labor. They also wanted to let the midwives speak, as a job with high knowledge of the labor situations, but who are on the edge of extinction. 'Loba' was financed by a crowdfunding pledge.
