Plot
'Man with a Movie Camera' is a documentary thought by the soviet director Dziga Vertov (pseudonym of Denis Kaufman). Talks about a day in the life of the Soviet Union. The story focused in telling the spectator that He is just watching a movie. To do that, It use an innovative montage. The documentary was made helped by his brother, the well known photographer Mikhail Kaufman. Vertov mixed city scenes with a false audience who supposedly is watching the movie. We often see the cameraman making the film even.
Trivia
The original Ukrainian intertitles were lost when they were cut and replaced with Russian intertitles in the mid-'30s.
