Missing Link

Sir Lionel Frost (voiced by Hugh Jackman, 'The Greatest Showman') is a renowned English explorer who travels the world to record his mythic and monstrous discoveries in the 19th century. When Lionel receives a letter instructing him to journey to the Pacific Northwest to find Bigfoot, he is surprised to discover that the creature who wrote the letter is none other than the eight-foot-tall Bigfoot (Zach Galifianakis, 'The Hangover') himself. The creature, who goes by the name of Mr. Link, speaks perfect English and wants Lionel to escort him to the paradise-like city of Yeti in the Himalayas so that he can find more of his own kind.

The unlikely duo embark on a journey that traverses continents, heading from North America to Mexico, where Lionel is joined by his no-nonsense ex-girlfriend, the mapmaker Adelina Fortnight (Zoe Saldana, 'Guardians of the Galaxy'). Yet their journey to Southeast Asia is anything but straightforward, as the trio is pursued by Willard Stenk (Timothy Olyphant, 'Fargo') an explorer and assassin sent by Lord Piggot-Dunceb (Stephen Fry, 'Danger Mouse'), the president of a club dedicated to hunting large prey.

'Missing Link' is the latest animated film from Laika Entertainment. The film is directed and written by Chris Butler ('Paranorman').
