      Plot

      Born into a family of circus performers, Laura (Jasmine Lemée) has spent much of her youth touring with her father Bill, a professional clown, and his stage assistant, Mandeep. But secretly, the girl yearns for a more conventional life. Thanks to his new high school teacher, Patricia (Sophie Lorain), he can finally fulfill his dream: go to a private school. After detecting the great potential of her new student, Patricia helps Laura pass her entrance exams. However, for his father, this constitutes an act of rebellion. Can bohemian Bill (Patrick Huard), a self-proclaimed maverick, accept that the apple of his eye has fallen so far from his father's family tree?
