'Next' is a documentary that portrays the experience of American girls aged 6 to 16 who want to be famous (actresses, singers, ect.). Is the first documentary of director and producer Elia Urquiza, after a career of more than ten years, in which she has developed several projects, always linked to the film industry and advertising. Perhaps the versatility and nomadism (she has lived and worked between Spain and USA) of this director are the breeding ground for this very true story, to the theme and its location, the airport in Los Angeles. That's where they go, every day, dozens of girls, accompanied by their mothers, for auditions here and there. They came from cities across the country, populations where nothing ever happens, with the claim of fulfilling the American dream.
