In ''Pavarotti'' several famous figures of the opera appear as tenors Plácido Domingo and José Carreras, sopranos Angela Gheorghiu and Madelyn Renée and orchestra conductors Eugene Kohn and Zubin Mehta.
New musical
It's not the first time that Ron Howard directs a musical documentary of these magnitudes. After 'The Beatles: Eight Days a Week' he repeats as director and producer.

The documentary has been authorized by the family and supervised by Nicoletta Mantovani, widow of the tenor and president of the Foundation Luciano Pavarotti.
