Reminiscence

Nick Bannister is a private investigator whose job involves delving through technology into the dark and seductive world of the past, helping his clients recover lost memories. Bannister lives on the shores of Miami, which in this future has largely been submerged under the sea.

His life will change one day when Mae, a new client, appears in it. Mae only comes to his office in search of a lost object, but she will become a dangerous obsession. When Mae disappears, Bannister tries to find her, but he will uncover a violent conspiracy.

'Reminiscence' is directed by Lisa Joy, co-creator of the HBO series 'Westworld', in her directorial debut; she also writes the script and is in charge of production. It stars Hugh Jackman, Rebecca Ferguson, Thandie Newton, Daniel Wu, Angela Sarafyan, Marina de Tavira, Cliff Curtis, Natalie Martinez, Teri Wyble, Sam Medina, Sue-Lynn Ansari, Mojean Aria, and Demi Castro.

Joy has utilized part of her 'Westworld' team, including director of photography Paul Cameron, production designer Howard Cummings, editor Mark Yoshikawa, and composer Ramin Djawadi, as well as costume designer Jennifer Starzyk.
