'Sarvam Maya' is an Indian film in Malayalam directed and written by Akhil Sathyan, which skilfully combines elements of comedy, fantasy and the supernatural to offer a moving and original story within the cinema of 2025. The plot revolves around Prabhendu Namboothiri (Nivin Pauly), a talented but frustrated young musician who, after being denied a visa to study music in Europe, returns to his hometown in Palakkad, Kerala. 

Born into a traditional family of priests, Prabhendu has renounced his faith and lives as a sceptical atheist, but circumstances force him to return home and temporarily work helping his cousin Roopesh with religious ceremonies to earn some money. 

Everything takes an unexpected turn when, during a seemingly routine exorcism at a client's home, something goes wrong and Prabhendu begins to experience the presence of a supernatural woman that only he can see. This ethereal figure, whom he ends up calling ‘Delulu’, does not remember who she is or where she comes from, and her appearance unleashes a series of situations ranging from the hilarious to the deeply reflective. Unlike typical scary ghosts, Delulu has a sparkling, modern personality, which leads to comical situations as she explores her identity and purpose, causing confusion among those around Prabhendu.
