Shepherds and Butchers

On the year 1987, 164 people were executed on the death row of the city of Pretoria in South Africa. This movie, which is based on real events, tells the story about the death penalty and its questioning method of punishment, a moment when the history changed. John Weber, played by Steve Coogan, is the lawyer who works defending Leon, which is played by Garion Dowds, in the face of a judge. Leon is a young prison guard who was traumatized because of watching so many executions in the prison of Pretoria.
