Smurfs

When Papa Smurf, voiced by John Goodman, is mysteriously kidnapped by the evil wizards Gargamel and Razamel, Smurfette leads a mission to save him in the human world. She will be portrayed by Rihanna and will become the heart of this musical adventure. Smurfette takes on the leadership role and guides the Smurfs through a portal that takes them to the real world. Directed by Chris Miller (with a script by Pam Brady), the characters must adapt to the human environment while forging new friendships, including Ken (Nick Offerman) and Moxie (Sandra Oh), to rescue their father and confront the villains. Produced by Paramount Animation and Nickelodeon Movies, with animation by Cinesite, the film combines original music composed by Henry Jackman and songs performed by Rihanna, James Corden, JP Karliak, Natasha Lyonne, Amy Sedaris, Nick Kroll, Daniel Levy, Octavia Spencer, Hannah Waddingham, Kurt Russell, among others. In this adventure filled with humor, courage, and catchy songs, the Smurfs rediscover their destiny and celebrate the power of unity to save not only their village but also the universe.
