Plot
In the final stage of Francoism, just a short time before the Spanish Transition began, Víctor Manuel, an Asturian singer-songwriter, reflects on all those themes that he has never given space to in his songs, reflecting the social political change of the moment.
In another distant part of Spain, a committed doctor known as Don Juan fights to defend the rights of people with disabilities, a group that includes Antonio and Mari Luz, two people whose love challenges the conventions of the time. Both, real protagonists, fell in love at PROMI, an association in favor of the most needy and marginalized in society at that time.
The worlds of the doctor and the singer-songwriter will unexpectedly intersect through the song 'Solo pienso en ti'. The transformative power of music once again proves to have no borders.
Forty years after this song became a recognized anthem of our country, the documentary 'Solo pienso en ti' is born, inviting us to rediscover its meaning and celebrate the legacy of a story that continues to touch the hearts of all who hear it. Directed by Hugo de la Riva and written by Ana Liébana, features Víctor Manuel, Iñaki Gabilondo, Miguel Ríos, Joaquín Sabina, Joan Manuel Serrat, and Antonio Resines as its stars.
