During shoot, Varun tore his hamstring and he had a shoulder injury. Shraddha Kapoor was injured badly and Nora had a neck injury too.

The first schedule of the film was shot in Punjab with Varun Dhawan, Sonam Bajwa and Aparshakti Khurana on 23 January 2019.

Earlier The name of this film was set ABCD 3. Later finalized as Street Dancer.

Announcement

Remo and his team first announced this film on the episode of Dance Plus 3.

Main actress changed

Katrina Kaif was original choice for lead role but due to dates clashing with Bharat and she has been dropped from the film after back to back flops of two big films, Thugs Of Hindostan and Zero in 2018. Later Shraddha Kapoor joined the cast.

First release date

The film was initially scheduled for release on 8 November 2019.
