Tarot

'Tarot' is an American horror film written and directed by Spenser Cohen and Anna Halberg, in their feature film directorial debut. It is also written by Nicholas Adams as it is based on his 1992 novel 'Horrorscope'. The film is scheduled to be released in theaters by Sony Pictures Releasing on May 10, 2024.

The plot develops around a group of friends who, in a moment of fun, decide to do a Tarot card reading. However, what begins as an innocent activity quickly turns into a nightmare when they use a deck that doesn't belong to them. This simple act sets off a series of supernatural events that plunge them into a whirlwind of terror and paranoia.

The protagonists, played by Harriet Slater, Jacob Batalon, Alana Boden, Adain Bradley, Avantika, Wolfgang Novogratz, Humberly González, Larsen Thompson and Olwen Fouéré, are forced to face their worst fears as they fight to Survive the dark forces that have been released. Each of them must face their own destiny, marked by the tarot cards, and find a way to change the course of events before it is too late.

Tension mounts as the friends find themselves caught in a spiral of terrifying events, not knowing who they can trust or what their next fatal move will be. With each plot twist, new dark secrets are revealed and ancient curses are unraveled that threaten to consume them all.

The production is by Scott Glassgold of Alloy Entertainment, Leslie Morgenstein and Elysa Koplovitz Dutton, with the participation of Screen Gems. Andrew Pfeffer, Scott Strauss, Anna Halberg and Spenser Cohen serve as executive producers.
