The last recipe

Mitsuru Sasaki (Kazunari Ninomiya) is a world-renowned chef who is completely obsessed with always achieving perfection. However, he is at a point in his life where he has lost all the passion he has always felt for his work. It is in such a difficult time that it almost ruins your own restaurant. That is why to pay all the debts he has he will be forced to make a difficult and drastic decision: he will have to accept the challenge of recreating the legendary recipe of chef Naotaro Yamagata (Hidetoshi Nishijima), which was lost many years ago. He will cook one last meal for anyone willing to pay a million yen for it. This film is directed by Yôjirô Takita and is an adaptation of Keiichi Tanaka's novel.
