The Man from Mo'Wax

Documentary about James Lavelle, the renowned artist and DJ. From the age of 14, Lavelle began in the world of electronic music participating in his first set as a DJ, which gave rise to the fact that with only 18 years old the musician launched his own record label called Mo'Wax. His musical career seemed to have no limits, being the precursor of the genre Psyence Fiction with his album UNKLE with only 22 years old and going higher and higher in the industry. But moving so fast has its consequences. 'The Man From Mo'Wax' is the story of one of the most influential personalities in the musical culture of the United Kingdom, a documentary made by filmmaker Matthew Jones with the participation of James Lavelle himself and other artists such as DJ Shadow, Ian Brown or Josh Homme.
